Chompers & Co. Dog Food is lovingly baked and then frozen to make storage and handling easy for you. Once you purchase our dog food, simply keep it in the freezer, where it can stay fresh for up to 1 year. When you're ready to serve it to your dog, you have two simple options:

1. Thaw in the fridge: Take the portion you need out of the freezer and let it thaw in the refrigerator for about 12 hours.
2. Defrost in the microwave: If you need it quickly, you can defrost the food in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes. Just make sure to let it cool before serving to your dog.

This process ensures your pet enjoys a fresh, nutritious meal every time!

To serve, the loaves are defrosted and can be left in the refrigerator until ready to use.  Serving tip: After determining the appropriate portion; break into pieces, warm slightly if desired to enhance aroma and taste. Once defrosted the food can be refrigerated for up to 7 days.

For best results, allow the food to thaw naturally in the fridge or on the counter to bring it to the ideal serving temperature, giving your pet a fresh and nutritious meal every time.

All our food packaging will have a best before date. We recommend you follow the date labelled on your package.

If you subscribed to Chompers & Co., your dog food will be delivered every two weeks. When you make your first subscription purchase you will receive an email which will notify you of when you can expect to receive your first delivery.

Subscriptions are automatically renewed according to your selected delivery interval and the products will be automatically delivered by the shop after each successful renewal.
